Blogs & Sites

The Knit Girlls – I love these ladies and their videos. You’ll want to have some coffee and knitting on hand while you watch. They are basically the cool knitting friends I wish I had (No one I know knits!).

One Sheepish Girl – This blog is knitting and craft porn at it’s finest. One of my absolute favourites.

Kate Davies Designs – These are the images my mind evokes when I think of knitting, and wearing hand knit items. Kate has beautiful pictures of Scotland, and beautiful patterns. Her blog makes me want to live by the sea in a cottage, and wear only the knits I have make for myself. And maybe even raise sheep.

ChocolateMintsinaJar.com Yasmin Gamal’s blog is part lifestyle and part craftiness.

We Will Tell You All Of Our Secrets – Caitlin Ffrench is a local who creates inspiring knitted patterns, but she also blogs her outings into the wilderness here and over seas. She creates hand dyed yarns and fabrics from natural dyes. I have her mini-book Dark Woods which includes the most beautiful photographs of Caitlin in her designs.

Jane Richmond – Jane is a local designer, and her patterns are so lovely. I’ve met her at Knit City a few times too, and she is constantly smiling!

Tiny Owl Knits – Tiny Owl Knits patterns are a bit quirky and imaginative, with a slant to fantasy, and that’s what makes them so appealing.

Tin Can Knits

cocoknits by Julie Weisenberger. This site is a knitter’s staple. I love her simple modern patterns.

The Knitted – I just started following this blog, but I’m loving the blend of knitting and scenery. A blog after my heart!
